If you're an EU consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, no reason needed. This page is the full, official version — the short mention in our Terms & Conditions just points here.

Before You Hit Send

Real talk, then we'll get into the legal part (which none of this changes — your rights below are yours, full stop, no conditions attached). Every return is a real garment that got made, packed and shipped once, and now travels back and often out again — actual cotton, actual fuel, actual hours, not just a click. For a small operation like us, a return usually costs more than we made selling it in the first place, before it's even resellable again.

Wrong size, changed your mind, just not you — totally fine, that's exactly what this policy exists for, no explanation needed. We just ask that you give it an honest look before deciding: read the size guide, check the model's height, sit with it a day if it's a genuine 50/50. Not because we'll judge you (we won't, we can't even see you), but because it's a small, real cost — to the planet and to a two-person Berlin operation — that's easy to forget when it's just a browser tab.

That's the whole speech. Nothing below changes because of any of this.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), takes possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, just tell us — Natalia Kalugina (Hyped Society), Brüsseler Straße 49, 13353 Berlin, Germany, achso@hypedsociety.co — by a clear statement (an email is fine, so is a letter). You can use the model withdrawal form below if you like forms, but you really don't have to. To meet the deadline, it's enough to send your notice before the 14 days are up — Alles klar, wir haben's dann gesehen.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw, we refund everything we received from you, including standard delivery costs (not any extra you paid for a fancier shipping option), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we get your withdrawal notice.

We refund using the same payment method you originally paid with, unless we agree on something else with you directly — no fees on our end for that.

We may hold off on the refund until we've received the goods back, or until you've shown us proof you've sent them, whichever comes first.

Returning the Goods — Step by Step

To return goods, you'll need to arrange the shipping yourself and cover the cost — but the upside is you're not locked into anything: pick whichever carrier or drop-off point is easiest for you, whatever's closest to home. Here's exactly how you need to do it:

1. Tell us you want to withdraw, within 14 days of receiving your order — whichever way works for you: email achso@hypedsociety.co, use the Model Withdrawal Form below, or just attach a free-form note to your return. Please include your order number and the email associated with your order — it helps us process your return quickly.
2. Pack the item well so it survives the trip. Keep the factory tags and labels attached, and make sure the item is clean and unworn — think of it like something you tried on in a shop.
3. Send it to us yourself, with any carrier you like, within 14 days of sending that notice: Natalia Kalugina (Hyped Society), Brüsseler Straße 49, 13353 Berlin, Germany. Sending it off before the 14 days are up is enough — it doesn't need to have arrived yet.
4. Use a trackable shipping option if you can, and hang onto your proof of postage — just in case the parcel takes a detour through Brandenburg.
5. We refund you within 14 days of getting your withdrawal notice, once we've received the item back (or you've shown us it's on its way).

You cover the direct cost of sending it back — unless what arrived was damaged, defective, or just not what you ordered, in which case that one's on us. See "Defective or Incorrect Items" below.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal doesn't apply to goods made to your own specifications or clearly personalized for you — specifically, the one-of-a-kind custom prints we make based on your own text or design request, produced just for you and offered to no one else.

It does apply to everything in our regular catalog, including designs that started life as someone's suggested phrase or idea — once something becomes part of a normal drop and anyone can buy it, it's a normal product like any other, and the usual 14-day right of withdrawal applies in full. Berlin has a lot of feelings about authenticity, but legally speaking, "inspired by a customer" doesn't make a hoodie personalized.

Defective or Incorrect Items

Got something broken, or not what you ordered? That's not a withdrawal case, that's just us messing up — email us at achso@hypedsociety.co within 14 days of delivery, with a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you, whatever works better for you, on our dime. This fast-track sits on top of, not instead of, your statutory warranty rights (Sachmängelhaftung) under German and EU law, which last a lot longer than 14 days and are completely unaffected by any of this.
